September 10th, 2012 marks the 10th anniversary of the World Suicide Prevention Day. This world wide day of awareness is organized by the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). As one of the leaders in the mental health community, NAMI is sponsoring a FREE local event to share prevention strategies, education, and dissemination of information. Pre-registration is mandatory. Lunch will be on your own but numerous neighborhood options are available. Free CEU's (3.5hrs) offered to LCSW's, MFT's, RN's, and CADAAC's for full attendance.
Keynote Speaker: Supervisor Shirlee Zane, Chairwoman of the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors
